It's sarcasm is especially off-target when you consider that many of the criticisms levelled at Toronto are issues that Vancouver faces as well.

For example, someone from VANCOUVER taking a jab at Toronto for being overpriced????? Hmmm.
agreed.

most readers, after reading the article, will roll their eyes.

no doubt, TO does suck at many levels, but hey, what city doesn't? you make the best of it, you stick with the people you enjoy being with, and you roll with it.

what do you think?

London is constructing a 21km new line to be completed in 5-6 years.
Crossrail Stations - Crossrail

On the other hand, the TTC started to "modernize" Pape station 5 years ago and it is still not finished.
Do you think TTC is running "efficiently"? It is like the quite opposite of efficient.

TTC has simply no incentive to be efficient. Do we need staff selling tokens at every booth for example? Many of them can't even do simple multipication (ask to buy 4 tokens I am sure 90% will be in total loss how much that will cost). I haven't seen any large city where subway service is interrupted so frequently - almost every couple of weeks some section is bound to close for some reason.

What does it matter where I rank Toronto among my favourite cities and why do you (or anyone else) care? Does it automatically have to be ranked number one by everyone?

Toronto doesn't really suck on many levels. Not in my view anyway.
