Yes but most of the world is hotter than Kentucky so therefore Kentucky is too cold for most people.

Speaking of weather...I found it quite sticky and uncomfortable here today. It might be because I don't have my air conditioners yet and I'm not used to it. But yuck. Sweaty/swampy afternoon.

Yeah I mean there are certainly many places hotter than Toronto but for many many people Summer in Toronto is plenty hot enough and A/C worthy...

It's because it's not a dry heat. That's whats so terrible about it.

I prefer South America in July than Toronto in July. I can't stand the gross heat in the GTA.

I think the summers in Toronto and southern Ontario are just about perfect, lots of really nice, not too hot days, mixed in with some really tropical feeling days. The sultry, warm evenings to me are the best part of summer in Toronto, no need for a sweater of jacket.

exactly my point. Warm enough for a summer but not uncomfortably hot.

Some of my colleagues already turned their AC on in early June. Probably the same folks who had their heaters on until late April. I honestly have no clue why, since I still sleep in my comforters every night.

Lol, I have had my AC on quite a few times already this year. It's mostly because of the humidity, and sometimes not getting enough of a breeze to cool the condo down at night. I'm in Windsor though.

Wish we could get a Toronto summer! Still a couple weeks to the official start of summer and they are already forecasting high temps of 97 to 100 F (36 to 38 C) with humidity around the mid 70% range for a heat index of near 115 F (46 C) for the next 5 days here in Georgia. Uhg!

Was in Boston. Hotter than toRon to this weekend. 30 + degrees. If you think toronto is too hot maybe you should move to the north pole !

Besides a couple of days it hasn't been that hot since I've been here. But I do notice the humidity and have had the A/C on most days. So far cooler but more humid than Boston. I wonder how it will be mid-July? The Weather Network people are predicting a cooler than average summer. That's fine with me. I like the thunderstorms. They seem to be almost daily.
