Is there a meetup or facebook group for American expats living in Toronto?

I'm in Houston and there's a very large and active club here for us Canadians (CCOH), and I was wondering if there's a similar organization there for Americans.

There should be plenty. There is big group on facebook.

What's the point of American expats having a group? It is really not that different from Canadians from other provinces, barring a few immigration related issues. It is not there is language/culture/lifestyle barriers.

You have to excuse Botti. He's only been in Canada 8 years, in Toronto mostly. Has travelled very little within Canada, but his lack of knowledge of the differences, doesn't keep him from announcing his assumptions as fact.
He is getting better though. It is just going to take a little more time and experience.

If it helps. there are both a Democratic, and a Republican political club in Toronto. A goggle search should yield results.

I am not saying Canada or America is completely homogenous. Both have diversity within respective country. However, what I said was collectively, there is no huge difference between Americans on one hand and Canadians on the other.

Some from Texas will find similar cultural difference in Canada as in other parts of the US.
