Default Applying for Second Career need help

I've been laid off for just over a year and I'm trying to apply to take a college course through second career. I will be taking a computer networking course if my application is successful. My problem is part of the application process requires me to have 2 informational meetings with either employers or someone who works in the field to which I wish to study in.

I have completed one meeting but I am having trouble with the second one. Not many people are willing to give me the 15 minutes that it would take. All I need to do is ask basic questions, mostly about the company they work for and their opinions about the particular field I'm interested in and provide contact info from the individuals for second career.

If anyone would be able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
