Hello All,

Any thoughts on the Lexus GS 350? Is it a good car? Do you all think it is worth the sticker price? Any thoughts or opinions will be helpful. Any current owners or previous owners of the GS with their experiences? Thanks.

Great car, excellent reliability. Save 12-15k off brand new and go L-Certified CPO, save yourself depreciation IMO.

The GS 350 is an excellent car. The F Sport obviously adds to the GS350 with some handling and a couple subtle appearance features. It is extremely well built, as you would expect.

I have been through the GS top to bottom, and the build quality is beautiful.

Personally I have few dislikes, and the ones that I have are minor. It's an excellent car to drive, whether on interstate or mountain switchbacks. I have driven mine across the US and am about to do it again. The transmission is great. Snow performance is not good. Different tires will help this and so would all wheel drive in my case, but I'm sticking with the RWD model. Snow may not be a factor for you.

If you buy a GS, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks 43north87west and thatguy950. I text drove the F sport AWD and I actually liked it. I don't see many people talk about the car so I wanted to hear other people opinions.

Aren't they hard to find as CPOs? There is quite a jump in price from the ES350 .

I see tons all over the country, both RWD and in AWD form. The F Sport is a bit more rare, but still relatively easy to find.

I currently own a 15 GS350 F Sport. Second one. I also sold Lexus. My mother owned 2 Lexus's. I can tell you this: I drove from Denver to Miami 4 times and in all of those trips I saw 3 others on the road-and they were not the F sports. Now once I got into Miami that was a different story, lol. You don't really see too many F Sports here in Denver either.

I love my car. I get compliments on it all the time at the gas station. My is fully loaded and I appreciate all the extras that brings. If you have any questions, let me know.

FYI these cars hold their value so you won't find one 12-15k less than new one unless you go back several years and it has to be 7 years or under to be L-Certified.

Well I've seen them for 35-39k or so L-Certified, AWD, 20k miles or less. IIRC aren't they 55k new? These were 2014's and some 2015's FWIW.

They hold their value better than BMW or Audi, but still have lousy resale in general compared to many other vehicles. I think it's mostly due to poor fuel economy. Still isn't stopping me from buying one though.

For reference, I sold my 4unner two years after I bought it for $500 MORE than I paid.

Among Lexus models the GS has poor resale value...but it is the best one IMO.
