I need to purchase new air filters (cabine and engine) but not sure what model my car is. I know it's a 6 cylinder and don't think it's a 4x4. I checked the owner's manual but couldn't find anything particular.

The engine size should not be a factor regarding the cabin filter.

As far as the air filter, just go to your local auto parts store (Advance, NAPA, O'Reilly, etc). Park in their lot, pop the hood, and take it out. The store can cross reference it for you. You can do the same with the cabin filter as well. If you give them the VIN they can probably figure out some things for you also.

Well, there are some sites where you can enter the VIN and it'll tell you some things.

Or you can go to the dealer. I bought my Avalon used and was told by the (non-Toyota) dealer that it was a standard XLE. It turns out it's an XLE Premium. I found this out when I had it serviced at my local Toyota dealer. They gave me everything I needed to know and more.

You should be able to tell by the letters on the tail gate. The VIN will also tell you what you have. Just register it at the Toyotas Owners site.

Go to Ebay and search. Or go to toyotapartsdeal.com and enter in your VIN. You should be able to find the exact Toyota part number.

Once you do that, go to both Amazon and Ebay and search for best price for the filters you need. Might be worthwhile to get a 5 pack of cabin filters, as "your supposed to" change 'em twice a year.

Cabin filter won't care about 4WD nor engine size; air filter would only care about engine size.

You Spectre for air filter and carbon for cabin. Technically, they are all the same across the lineup. It's Toyota, not GM, to drown you in thousands of options.

Link is for V6.

I'm usually a sucker for OEM on Toyota. Not sure it matters though for cabin filter, you'll likely be replacing once/year anyhow.
