I need to replace master cylinder and right front brake caliper on my 1999 corolla. I was quoted a price of $621.00 . The car has 110,00 miles on it . Is it worth it to fix? Or should I look into getting a different car ?

If the rest of the car is fine then I do not see why not.

How many miles on the car. Corolla's are known to run "forever".

Have the mechanic check the rest of the car out and give you an estimate of all other issues that are popping up right now. You'll have a better idea then.

Hire a mobile mechanic who will do this in your driveway for fraction of the cost. It's literally hour job with all parts around just above hundred bucks. calipers are not expensive, masters are cheap. Also, both can be simply refurbished.

I agree, buy the parts yourself and hire a mechanic to come and change them. Should be much cheaper. By the way, who quoted you the price.
