Radio static 2006 Lexus RX330

Just purchased a used 2005 Lexus RX 330. Rides great. Only problem seems to be radio/cd player. Both are very static.

Have ordered a new antenna and going to replace that. Wondering if this is a problem with speakers or the radio/cd player itself?

Anyone experienced this. If so, what did you replace?

Do you get static with the CD too? If so then the speakers are bad. If not then it is either the antenna or the unit itself.

Get yourself some nice speakers and the static most likely will go away.
