Buying a Toyota Prius II 4dr Hatchback

I'm looking at buying a Toyota Prius II 4dr Hatchback , now found 2 of them:


1- 2011 , 184k miles, price: $5200 "private seller"

2- 2013 , 65k miles, price: $11900 "Dealer"



Both: no accident , no issues , clean carfax, and in good shape.


I would greatly appreciate it if you kindly give me some feedback on these cars, Which one is a better deal?

There's a big difference in price, but for 120,000 fewer miles if those are the only choices I would go with the 2013. You'll be driving it for five or six years before it hits the number of miles the 2011 has already.

Yep - really depends on which you can pay cash for. Even the higher mileage example, if properly cared for by the previous owner, will give you many years of service. I've been in plenty of Prius taxis in Seattle with over 900k miles on them.

Maybe look more and find something in the middle of these two price and mileage wise.

I would go with the 2013.
