The driver of a fuel-efficient Toyota Prius repeatedly rammed a pickup during a road-rage attack in Colorado Springs and then shoved the truck's 61-year-old driver when the men pulled over, police said.

Daniel Cox, 30, was jailed on suspicion of felony assault. The charge was upgraded to a felony because people over 60 are considered "at-risk adults" under Colorado law.

They are playing a misleading angle to this story and making it sound like a tree hugger vs gas hog deal....that doesn't seem to be the case if you read the whole article.

Gotta love the press, pretty likely that the old guy in the pickup did something stupid. Still, a Prius doesn't make a good ramming tool.

I always thought Prius drivers way more stable than pickup drivers. Maybe ill have to reconsider.

They will be ok when the gas goes back up again.

Idiots drive pretty much anything. You won't find any correlation here.

You've got that right Steve....there is a family of idiots that live the next road down from me....The son drives a jacked up loud Dodge 4x4 that he wrecks every couple of weeks, the old man drives a Hummer and is now on his second DUI and fighting it in court, the wife drives an Escalade and has hit every mailbox in the area while heading home after wine tasting events....the only remotely sane one in the bunch is the youngest daughter who's in college and drives a VW beetle.....what you drive has absolutely NOTHING to do with being an idiot or not......well unless you drive a Yugo and brag about it being a collectable sports car
