Nude beaches in Jamaica I see. Do they allow naked 60 year olds?

Requirements:
-not outrageously expensive
-temps max of 30, sun not too strong
-wide, white sandy beaches not crowded, not deserted
-clear, beautiful water
-want to swim, snorkel, and kayak in fairly calm water
-not rainy season

Does this place exist? So far I've looked at Lover's Key Resort in SW Florida. I know the temps will be nice, the beaches are nice, the water is okay but not perfectly clear. Not exactly exotic or diverse landscape or culture but we could stay for a month. We've been to the area before and know there are many places to kayak, see dolphins, see the Everglades.

We don't mind heat but prefer temps in the 20's - 70's to low 80's. The sun can't be too strong (like near equator) as my hub became sensitive to equatorial sun when we lived in Uganda.

Also thinking about Phuket, Maldives, Caribbean, was looking at Mauritius or Seychelles but sun may be too strong and Feb climate not good.

Recommendations?
I went to the Maldives in June 2009 and never had such a wonderful beach experience. Ever. The sand was like rose petals. The water was like the sky, only liquid, warm, and within reach.

I don't know what outrageously expensive means to you. There are many resorts, each catering to various tastes and budgets; however, the Maldives, especially in February, is not a bargain destination. I went in the off-season for ten days and spent around $3,000, including airfare from Hong Kong.

The Maldives isn't a destination for independent travelers who want to get off the beaten bath and explore the islands and see how the locals live. For the most part, foreigners are expected to stay on their resort island.

I would go again in a second. It's gorgeous.

Just looking at the Maldives. Looks stunning!! Package holidays are a pretty good price for 2 weeks if you look in the right place (about £2000 each for 2 weeks all inclusive). But then I don't have to rent a car or buy meals, just alcohol. Easy flight - Glasgow to Dubai to Male.

My dh isn't thrilled with the idea as he wants a more active holiday. If I find him a kayak he'll be happy though.

I keep seeing "DH". What does that mean? Dear Husband?

I stayed at a resort called Kuredu. They have tons of activities to do. (I don't remember kayaking being offered, but I wouldn't have looked for it.) I believe my all-inclusive package came with alcohol.

Depending on how far away your resort is from Male, you'll have to take an air-taxi, which should be included in the price of the package. The views from the plane are incredible.

Now you have me wanted to go back.

there are no nude beaches in JA. some resorts have adult areas.

Cook Islands (April is best... Feb towards end of rainy season)
Find a couple destinations off the tourist circuit, but in general the area is quite 'un-tourist'
Cook Islands White Sand Beaches - Google Search
White Sandy Beaches in Aitutaki
Aitutaki travel guide - Wikitravel

You might also look at Langkawi, Malaysia (quite near Phuket, but much quieter) Rainy season = June.
langkawi beaches - Google Search

There are also some areas near Phuket that are much nicer than Phuket. (Krabi, it really depends on your tastes)
