I'll be driving from San Francisco to Lexington, KY with a UHAUL in tow and am looking for recommendations on the best route. I have a 99 Toyota Tacoma (4cyl) and will be towing a 5x8 uhaul (at max weight ~3000lbs). I'm concerned about elevation changes due to the weight I'll be towing and am thinking i-40 is best but ideally I'd rather go i-80 just for the scenery. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Take 40...its pretty flat except when go up into Flagstaff. And if your in a UHaul dont go up 44 through St.Louis. 44 is a horrible interstate. Stay on 40 then go up 65
