In the US, San Diego!! We loved it so much when we visited in 2006, that we moved here in 2008 and have been on a permanent vacation ever since! Love it here, the scenery is amazing. Every single person that visits us can't believe how pretty it is here. I can't believe I live here!

Abroad, I love Bruges. It's just really pretty, almost fairytale like!

Vancouver, Canada. Beautiful trees, beautiful people, and pretty good weather considering how far north it is.

Edinburgh, Scotland is absolutely enchanting with the castle atop the Royal Mile and Arthur's Seat looming nearby.

Sausalito, CA (Travel on the Golden Gate Bridge, and it's right across from San Francisco). Beautiful city.

Milwaukee, WI and Bar Harbor, ME are runners-up

That's tough, because if you go to the right place in a city at the right time in 100s of different cities you would say, "wow, this is really beautiful." I love Rio de Janeiro with the hills popping out of the middle of the city, it really is amazing...although if you were in one of the favelas you would say, "wow, what a dump this city is." I guess I still say Rio, but there are so many beautiful cities...Ljubljana was amazing also, but in a completely different way.

I also remember the first time I visited the city I live in today (Naperville), we were driving through the small downtown, near the Riverwalk, and big flakes of snow started floating down form the sky...it was like a movie, so amazing.
