Instead of paying at the airport for extra luggage I would like to ship it back home. No time frame but the best cost. Anyone did that? What did you use? Who is cheapest?
Thank you for your info

For an international shipment Germany to the US, DHL is probably your best bet. No kind of international parcel shipping is cheap.

Depending on the size and weight of your item[s] however, you may very well find that it is cheaper to bring it with you on the airline as extra baggage. I'll bet if you do a price comparison between international shipping charges and the airline extra baggage charge, you will find it cheaper to shlep it home on the plane.

Azoria, you rock!!! I checked with the airlines and found out that additional luggage up to 23 kg ( 50lb) will cost $72.75 . That's $3.16 per kg! No one beats this price!
Thank you for the great tip!

Just for the sake of comparison.
Talk to DHL, tell them what you have and what it weighs.
Then tell them (important) that you do not mind to have it shipped whenever a pallet is full.
I forgot what it is called, but if you want have it shipped asap, it is a fortune.
If you can wait, they start loading pallets or containers, and they do not ship until full.

When you get the cost, you will then know for sure.
