There are several places I want to go to before I die. Some of which I have made, like stonehenge and the barrier reef. Some are still pending like the pyramids and the acropolis. I would like to know what is on your bucket list?

Japan and Asutralia.

I have been almost everywhere else ( not quite ) but Japan really does appeal. Rural Japan that is as I loathe modern cities though I would love to see Kyoto's Temples during the Cherry Blossom seasons.

My dream would be staying only in small Riokans and eating my way through the country from small eating-houses to the very top Japanese restaurants.

Australia I would love to visit but I would need at least a year or so to explore this vast country. I would really love to see Tasmania and the West Coast in particular. And of course the touristy Great Barrier Reef. Ideally I would be able to do a lot of this from a sailboat.

I also want to visit the Galapagos again ( sailing) and for some reason I never made it to the Faroe Islands which would also be great. And I have always wanted to visit the Northern Coast of British Columbia ( especially Haida Gwaii , and the Spirit Bear rainforest on the mainland - also by sailboat and river boat ).

China and Bhutan would be next.

Too many wonders to visit , not enough time...

I want to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, trying to plan a trip around them would be hit or miss.

Spend a few weeks living in Venice, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Walk everywhere. Peek into every church. Visit every island. Eat too much.

I already study maps and daydream. Someday!

Like Moose, I too am interested in the Faroes, Japan and Australia.

I may never make it though, and that's okay if I don't. I've seen the places that I cared most about, everything else is icing on the cake.

I guess compared to the other buckets here mine is much smaller or you have way more resourses than I do. I would love to spend time in Florence Italy and also the Tuscan area.
