You just described San Diego! It finally feels like summer here. I've been at the beach every day and loving the lack of crowds and warm temps! The tourists were all here in July an August, when there wasn't any sun and the temps were way below average! It's finally warm, water temp is great and not crowded. Best time of year for San Diego!

Mid September to end of October is favored travel season. This year, am not going far, will visit parts of my own state not too familiar with. Up hwy 49 through the California Gold Country and Sierra western foothills, then north to Plumas County again. After that, south to Lake Tahoe for a few days, then home via 395. The trip is late October, always a bit of a risk of snow that late at the higher elevations.

I am going to have a vacation around South East Asia next month. I have heard that Malaysia is a cool country to visit with multicultural and surrounded by sea, But the best thing to do is to go through a website and book your hotel accommodation rooms. I found one that which offers great packages at Sunway Hotels and Resorts in Kuala Lumpur and Berjaya Times Square Private Service Apartments with a free RM 20 Outback Steakhouse voucher along with Sunway Lagoon tickets. HSBC and ANZ credit card holders can avail great privileges

Hoping to get back to the U.S in December. Visiting a C-D buddy in CO, then possibly driving down to New Orleans for a few weeks, may head over to Houston/Galveston as well.

Hong Kong Oct 7 - 10; London Dec 25 - 31. Nothing planned yet for 2011. But, I'm sure I'll find somewhere to go.

Vegas in early December. Driving up to St. George. UT where friends we met on a cruise last year retired. Hoping to visit the Valley of Fire again since we didn't have time to see it all the first time we went. Pretty much a week of goofing off and being lazy. Might even win some money playing Blackjack. Thinking about going to see Mystere.

Last vacation for over a year! None next year so Mrs. Tek will get paid for the max unused vacation time when she retires (she says) at the end of 2011. Should be a nice chunk of change.
