This is a unique statue. There isn't another one like it anywhere in the world. What makes it unique is clearly visible and, once you see that, you won't have any trouble finding where it is.

In your picture, it is a different sculpture, in which the heads of the two figures are touching. Michelangelo's Pieta in St. Peters is not the same, it has the head of Christ lying back, quite apart from the other head. Your statue is also on a different base.

^^^ true. This picture of Pieta I made in Milan. But I agreed with your first hint "Pieta" and asked for a country. 28 hrs after I post the picture, I made it easier and asked for the "only one Pieta ( that looks similar to this) made by someone very famous and located in a very famous place and city" ... see post #3268

Maybe I'm losing the sequence of the posts in the thread. Didn't you accept "St. Peter's in Rome" as the correct answer from Stillkit? And your picture is not at St. Peter's in Rome?

Gotta be something to do with that strange footwear, why would the artist incorporate modern footwear on his statue of Jesus?
