I should clarify something, lest I lead you astray. The alphabet on the sign is the same syllabary that is used in the Inuktitut (Inuit) language, but the language is completely different.

Well, then. That would be Cree, which means the sign is probably in the Territory of Nunavut (spelling?).

I was getting to Cree also but what I've found seems to say there are Inuit in Nunavut and Cree are elsewhere throughout Canada - Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

I'm also interested to know - just 'cause I'm nosey - if that is JT's bike.

Yes, it is Cree, and no, that is not my bike. I did not take the picture. It is not in any of the provinces or territories mentioned so far. When I lived in northern Michigan, I had plans to drive there, which would have been an easy and fairly short drive on a good road, but the trip never happened. (about 25 hours drive, according to MapQuest.)
