I have known a few people and still have one distant friend that worked for them for years. They really liked it a lot.

Basically the type of traveler it works for is someone 18-35 years old, into the backpacking hippie traveler lifestyle that is very sociable and likes hanging out with a bunch of like minded people. Just depends on your personality. If you like your own space when traveling or don't like traveling in groups and especially camping out under the stars, it's not for you.
