Huh... I'm not sure I know without researching their heights, but it would be either the Empire State Building, Seattle's Space Needle, or the Eiffel Tower. I'm really bad with heights, so I get slightly woozy - but the views from those buildings were worth it!

Edit: Okay, I did a quick search, and the Empire State would be the tallest of those! It's also possible I went up the World Trade Center, since my family's spent a lot of time in NYC (we're originally from the east coast - my dad's from Brooklyn), and I have a vague memory of that... and when it was still standing, it was taller than the Empire State. Here's a cool picture, where I got the info:

I went to the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago. I was a little disappointed by the fact that the observation deck was indoors since when I went to the Empire State Building, it was outdoors. The windows were sort of dirty and smudges, but the view was still pretty good. We went when the sun was setting so we were able just to see the line of lights going for miles in every which way which was cool.

Well we didnt actually 'go in' but we did check out some sights last time we were in Chicago I saw the Sears Tower from a distance. Sorry it has to be a link, I have yet to master a direct pic from 'my documents'.

The tallest building that I have ever been on was the roof of the former north tower of WTC in NYC. There were many TV, radio and telecom transmission and microwave devices up there, and I was there on a job related visit. It was a very clear and very cold February morning in 1993, less than a month before first terrorist incident at the site. I have a few photos lying around somewhere, I should try to find them and scan them.

I live in NYC, but I've never been in the Empire State Building. I have, however, been in the upper deck of the CN Tower in Toronto.

In 1982 I had Thanksgiving dinner at Windows On The World. This was a fine restaurant at the top of the World Trade Center. At 21 years I was too young and stupid to apreciate it. I do now.
