I've also been in the jump seats on a few flights, those are the seats that are behind the captain's and first officer in the flight deck. This of course was long before concerns about terrorism. But even then, airline officials had to approve your flight deck visit before boarding the aircraft. As an aviation enthusiast, I enjoyed watching what goes on behind the scenes while you're sitting comfortably in your seat.
