Bristol, U.K. to visit (step)daughter. They have a great new city museum, and we were there for opening day. Also got to see a lot of Isambard Kingdom Brunell's works, and even ride on some of them (the small steam railways in the Southwest).

You can also swim in many places in the middle of the city.

I was in NYC last month.

Saw a museum I never visited before: The Tenement Museum. It was great! I was telling everyone about it and my tour focused on a poor struggling Irish family named the Moores who moved into the building in 1867 (the tenement building itself was built in 1863) ... the Moore family consisted of the father, mother and 4 children and they lived in a 3 room flat without plumbing or running water. Later that day my Uncle and I strolled along 5th Avenue and there was free admission into some of the museums there.

Spent two weeks in New Orleans in April. We'll go back next year. That place is an addiction for me. I always feel so GOOD when I'm there and we have a ball.

We've been traveling the past 4 months. The most recent cities were Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 3 weeks and now we're in Breckenridge, Colorado...

We drove up to Cleveland, OH over the weekend. Weather was nice. Saw the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The HoF was crowded, so we spent less time there than we'd liked to. Wanted to see more of the city, but we had reservations at a B&B in Avon (West of Cleveland on Lake Erie) we drove from Cleveland out to Avon on Route 6 and loved looking at the houses that line the lake. Some grand old homes, some new McMansions. But all very nice. Sunday we drove over to the ferry to Put-In-Bay. Spent several pleasant hours on the island. Was worth the trip. But would be better if you were a sailor or loved to drink (or both...)
