Time frame? (season + allotted time to make the trip)
Accompanying kids / cars / family / plants / pets ?
Should have got a hold of me, I have done 3 'eastbound' moving truck trips this yr for friends, I would be great to get to drive round trip, and would have saved them my $89 airfare home. I think my 'moving-truck' days are on hold, had to take a job to get health benefits (sick spouse / partner).
May was great, I did 7,000 miles on the road and 6,000 in the air (in my free time).
It is really no big deal, just point west and go. Watch your overhead clearances (gas station canopies, tree limbs, traffic sign near road) and off track (trailing rear) and Tail Swing. Pivoting 'rear' behind axle when turning sharply... can wipe out the guy next to you with a 'swat' of your tail.
Distribute weight properly and secure well when loading (not too heavy in the back or at height, no load shifting.)
