Thanks for all of the ideas so far. As one of the posters mentioned I am the one that needs the vacation as opposed to my son. However being a single parent I seemed to get so caught up in the flow of things that I never really spend time with my son and I figured a week or so away from everything for just the two of us would be a great idea.
The Disney Cruise idea is great. Like I mentioned in the original post I have worked there so I know a lot about everything that goes on at Disney. I really just want to wait on that. I feel he would enjoy all that Disney has to offer in a few more years.
However the New England Cape Cod idea sounded great. I dont know much about the area. Where I would stay? What types of things to do in the area....etc? I also liked the Yellowstone Idea, but I think that is another idea that would be best explored when he is older. If anyone has any further information about a Cape Cod vacation please let me know. Any additional ideas would also be welcome. Thanks again all.
