I have a whole new respect for Big Rig drivers and drivers of larger vehicles. We just drove across the country in a 26 foot box truck and i could not believe some of these people in cars. People need to understand that these bigger vehicles take longer to stop, and longer to get up to speed. People would cut us off, dart in front of us and slam on the brakes, get on the freeway at a slow speed so we would have to slow also, talegate us, I was a nervous wreck after each day of driving! Im just saying next time you see a Big Rig on the road, RESPECT it! I know i have a whole new view of these guys.

Thanks. As an old retired truck driver, your comments are well appreciated.

And, as bad as it was for you, it could have been worse. Your vehicle didn't even bend in the middle!
