Depending on where you live, you could either fly into Dulles Airport [Chantilly, Va] and rent a car and drive up to Hedgesville, WV and stay at The Woods [see link: offers weekend getaway accommodations and spa on site] and maybe drive down to the Charles Town Races and Gaming (aka Hollywood Casinos) and/or drive a little further east to the Outlets (for some shopping fun). On weekdays[non holiday, re: MARC], if you wanted to go into Washington, DC., you could catch the MARC train into DC. [would have to check prices] or drive down to one of the metro stations. Most people from that area would either drive to Shady Grove - Red Line[Gaithersburg, MD] or the Vienna or W.Falls Church - Orange Line [Vienna, VA].

The Woods: Sleepy Creek Spa

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races

Hagerstown Premium Outlets

[hmm, they must have just changed their name]

Sorry - I must have still been in typing mode before the 7:23am #12 post. Maybe next trip?
