Countries. I'm hoping to hit 100 by the time I quit this mortal coil.
I'm over halfway to my goal and only 37 years old, so it seems doable. However, kids + far less disposable income have put a temporary halt to my plans.

I've seen most (but not yet all) to the Nat'l Parks, but I do it because I just love going into them whenever I can and not as some sort of checklist. Some I have been to dozens of times, and a few I might just skip (Everglades, Hot Springs... etc) unless I happen to be right there anyways. I came of age in Yosemite, was married there, and would probably like to die there if possible and have my ashes scattered into he wind from the top of Cloud's rest.

Anyone doing the National Parks, I'll say Big Bend is my favorite so far, Lassen was surreal (like the earth puked), but if you do Fort Jefferson / Dry Tortugas: camp over one night. It's small so when the day boats are there it is packed and not much fun, when the half dozen / dozen campers are there overnight it is so peaceful, especially at night when you can see the stars without the light pollution and have amazing sunsets and sunrises.

We have a travel list of destinations we intend to visit. This is what remains after extensive travel around the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and China. The list is:

1. Germany
2. Spain.
3. Scotland
4. Return trip to Ireland
5. Possibly Czech Republic

If we get this done, we may have reached the end of our travels. I'm sure we'll still go places, but it won't be as exotic or as far.
