So I finally took my first trip to Montenegro. I stayed for a week in Podgorica. The people were very friendly and tried to be helpful despite the language barrier. I will be returning this summer. I noticed that in the city, they really don't mow that much grass around the in town trees. Is there a reason why or is that part of the culture? Most of the people I saw were absolutely beautiful and well dressed, but in looking around, gardening wasn't something that they do much of? I saw a couple of balconies with containers of flowers, but I am talking about the areas in front of the stores etc., I have also heard that other parts of the country are pretty. I was trying to find something really unique about Podgorica! The flea markets and farmers markets are fantastic though! And the size of a single slice of pizza puts us to shame! And the cars are constantly honking! Yikers!
I love Montenegro as well. And not because I'm from Former Yugoslavia! XD It's a nice place especially around the coast. Podgorica has some cool architecture there. And yeah, the most beautiful girls in the world are found in the Balkans. Stunning views. Stunning women.
