I agree, you should scale down your itinerary.

I still remember mont st Michel from my trip as a child and plan to return someday. I have traveled extensively in south & eastern France and it is all beautiful. Get a travel or piture book from the library and note what strikes your fancy.

Just want to warn you about Norway.
Don't go unless you can afjord to. It's one of the priciest countries I've ever been to.
Sweden is very expensive to eat out.

Concur with the above. Bill Bryson , in his classic book "Neither Here Nor There" referred to Swedish menu prices as "heartbreaking".

I agree that 6 countries in a month, with lots of travel in between, is too much. I would trim it down to three or four. I also agree Norway is very expensive. You could trim it two ways to minimize travel:

England
Sweden
Norway
Iceland (optional)

England
France
Italy
Sweden (optional)

I would stick to three countries, if it was me. I could spend a whole month in any of Italy, England or France, for sure.

We are somewhat interested in museums and shopping, quite interested in culture/architectural marvels, and very interested in nature/scenery/outdoor activities.

Can anyone suggest places in these countries highly worth visiting, or activities worth trying?
as for Italy, you will surely appreciate Salento, great scenery and nature, rich culture and cuisine, seaside and festivals... infoSalento | From Salento with Love
