Absolutely not, unless I was going to kill their leaders.

Yes if I was with the press. North Korea fascinates me because it is so mysterious, but it is also terrifying for this same reason. I would consider it having the worse regime because the government brainwashes so bad that the harshness is almost expected. At least in Iran the population understands its government is corrupt.

I suppose you could go to south korea and get the same cousine and a similar culture, minus the concentration camps.

There are things you can do that you just shouldn't do, this is one of them. Supporting this evil regime is like taking a tour of Nazi Germany

No I would not visit North Korea. I know a family of Koreans who have done well in Canada since they arrived 35 years ago. Their children are all 6 feet tall- strong robust, intelligent hard working kids..I could not bare to look at a nation of people who have been shrunk down to 100 pounds and who's average height is 4' 9"...................It's like a nation of torture victims..it would be to heart breaking to bear.

My Korean friend has stood on the boarder and looked north...He said all you could see in the distance were white tree trunks...The poor had stripped the trees of bark for food...Why this place exists is beyond me..China approves and America does not care.

Sure you can. There are no State Department restrictions on travel there, and they welcome tourists there, albeit for propaganda purposes and you'll have "handlers" with you 24 hours a day dictating your every move.

I'd consider visiting for the novelty of it but I fear that novelty would wear thin far sooner than would would be worth the while to travel halfway around the world for. Maybe a 2-day stopover on a visit to Seoul or something.
