Default 3 oz. carry on rules

I know all about rules like liquids, and even stick deodorant must be 3 0z. or less. Can I stil pack full size bars of soap in my carry on?? Thanks.

Stick deodorants are only restricted if they are gel or liquid. Solid sticks are not restricted in any way. Solid bars of soap are also not restricted.
