I generally book on Cheapoair, seems to be cheaper than anywhere else (even direct). Although, lately I have noticed Kayak is starting to have lower prices than cheapoair so maybe I'll check it out. Expedia and Orbitz never have good prices, I'm always feel like it's a waste of time when I check them, but I still do just incase.

I use Airline Seating Charts - Best Airplane Seats - SeatGuru then book directly with the airlines.

I use Kayak to find the lowest price then book directly with the airline.

I used Travelosity only once. My husband was flying to Seattle (Ft Lewis) to pin the rank of Sgt on our son (note the bragging there lol) We had the flight all booked and hurricane Wilma decided to arrive at the time the flight was to leave. I hurried and made some calls. The Airline (Alaska) was great and only charged me $50.00 to change the flight to the morning but I then had to pay Travelosity another $150.00 for the change. Lesson learned.

Won't use Kayak because of the extremist groups they contribute to

Southwest does not supply their info to any travel sites. I believe it keeps their costs down. ???

I also agree with everyone else, I use Kayak, Expedia, and whatever else pops up to compare prices and flight times and see what's out there. but I've gotten good packages straight thru the airline. and the fact that theres no 3rd party is def a bonus even if you pay a little more, that added security is probably worth it to some.

I've never used Kayak. Used Priceline once and the airline reservations were an incredible nightmare - 9 hours in the airport, shuttled from one terminal to another, to 3 different airlines, arrived at our destination at 3 am. NEVER again. Did I say never? Not since that one time in 2000. Used a TA once also, another nightmare. We'll continue to do it ourselves, direct.
