All very good lists; we have been to many, and a few more to get to.
Fwiw, we were in Denali last summer: maybe just a crummy few days, but it is the most overrated NP I have been to in 50 years of wandering around NP and state parks. We didn't 'camp'/hike deep, but the cursory bus rides into the fringe of the park were completely underwhelming. The joke was, 'Look, there's a crow'.

Just my 50 Cts for those of you angling for an AK trip, which may include Denali...

Pretty good list for an Australian.

I would definitely add the Big Island of Hawaii and Big Sur/California Coast to your natural list, but I don't know which two I would remove.

On the man-made list I would get rid of the Sunset Strip/LA. It's nothing impressive and is way over hyped. I would replace it with San Francisco/Golden Gate Bridge for sure.

I would also get rid of DC and replace it with Miami Beach/Art Deco District. Miami offers a unique experience in the US with its overall Latin American flavor, plus Miami Beach is just awesome. DC is cool, but probably not a must-see after going to Boston and Philly to see older Northeastern cities.

6) Muir Woods, CA
7) Na Pali Coast State Park, HI
8) Yellowstone, WY
9) New England in autumn
10) Zion National Park, UT

Man-made

Actually I meant to put Big Sur there, but forgot.

I've actually been to LA/ the Strip, I guess personally it'd still be on my top 10 simply because of it's cultural significance. Haven't been to SF yet but hope to next time I go over there. Miami sounds cool, too. I was pleasantly surprised by DC, actually.
