Awesome info justme. I'm sure you're aware Qatar has said it will serve Atlanta with 787 (along with several other cities) but hasn't given a date for ATL besides undefined 2013. Maybe it's not on the table anymore; I haven't heard anything about it lately.

Atlanta will more than likely receive a gulf carrier with the 787. QR is interested, but they are interested in a lot of places right now.

Give it 3-5 years and either, Qatar, Etihad, or Emirates will be in Atlanta.

By the way, one of my rumors came quasi-true. Iberia is canceling LAX for the winter. The route will be seasonal.

Also quite a bit of leakage to BWI. I've gone as far as JFK and Dulles for international flights. Even Atlantic City offers flights to South America on Spirit (via Ft. Lauderdale).

isn't sunwing the little airline based out of MSP that flies most of its routes seasonlally?
