If you are travelling on Spirit Airline starting next month, you maybe charged $100 per CARRY-ON bag.

Spirit said Monday that its fees pass the cost of handling bags to passengers who bring them rather than raising prices for all customers.
That doesn't make any sense though because they don't handle carry-on bags, so what "cost" is there for them that they are "passing on"? I get that with checked baggage you have to hire employees to load and unload them, but carry-ons literally do not have a cost associated with them at all. The airline operates exactly the same whether someone brings a carry-on or not.

Not sure why people even fly with them. Their prices aren't that much lower anyways but by the time you factor in all their fees, they are actually more expensive than flying with one of the big companies.

So don't use them or add the $25 to the price of the ticket when you make reservations.
