Question about beaches in Telaviv Israel (best, beach, Hawaii, summer)

going to be visiting Israel soon.


Having sort of grown up in Hawaii (spent summers there as a child), I have always loved to play in the waves. I have the following question about Telaviv Israel.

In Telaviv, what would be the best beaches for bodysurfing and boogie boarding, and when are waves in Telaviv at their best in terms of season?

A lot of my colleagues are from Israel. I asked them. Here's what one wrote:

"I believe that any time around August and September is a good time
I'm not sure about the beach names but I'm sure there is some info on the Internet."

Tel Aviv has long "boardwalk" with a long beach area. You can see locals at the beach most of the year. So when you arrive you can ask them which part of the beach would be the best for what you are interested in.
