Which beach destination would you pick? Both have the same weather and pretty much the same beaches?

I consider these tropical areas pretty much the same.

Sorry, but the beaches in Miami cannot compare to the beaches in The Bahamas. They might be nice to what people in the US are use to, but there is just no comparison.

Though we are also used to the beaches in Hawaii, but I guess I agree with you about Bahamas being better in terms of beaches than Miami.

Well since I live in Miami the Bahamas is the obvious choice. While Miami has the best beaches in the Continental U.S. the Beaches in the Bahamas are better. Clearer water, nicer sand, and on many of them less people and buildings. I always enjoy a nice vacation in the Bahamas. I have not been in a few years now. I need to get out there.

I've been before to the Bahamas. It was nice. But I also love the beaches of South Florida.

Neither. I'd go to the Caribbean if I wanted a beach vacation.

The Bahamas are still in the Caribbean region. Heck, some even consider South Florida as being part of the Caribbean region.
