Christmastime is fast approaching? Where do you think is the most awesome Orlando landmark to celebrate this special season?

The best way to appreciate Orlando, IMO, is to not go there.

After a number of incredibly expensive and inconvenient convention trips there, I have no desire to return there. Neither the lodging or dining represented enough value to me that I'd seek a return to the area.

The theme parks don't appeal to me, either.

The best places to celebrate Christmas in the Orlando area are the places we don't tell the tourists about.

I've not been to Orlando, but I can tell you that Disney knows how to do Christmas up right. Especially if you have young children. So that would probably be where I would head. If I were going to Florida, which I am not.
