Im honestly worried I may just travel around US for next 5mths until time to start school in Jan.

Any advice? How to budget for this type life.
don't have any idea how to budget, but what you can do is every so often try and pick up day jobs, to see you through. Depending on your living conditions and how you present yourself, I am not sure I would think of you as being truly homeless. You sound like a young person, feeling your freedom before it is time to settle down and life a real life. That being said, I do see why some might judge you or others doing what you are doing.
