So I'm currently in Spain and we are planning on ending our trip in Istanbul on Dec 20th. We are having trouble finding a bus from Bulgaria to Istanbul. I tried Metro Turizm - Akl?n?zda neresi varsa oraya Metro var. which ive read is the best company there but it says there are no routes. I know eurolines doesn't go to Turkey which is what I've been using for all my other traveling.

Any help would be greatly helpful!

I think it's a problem with the Metro website. For any given day, if you select Istanbul-Sofia you'll have at least 6 departures, those buses have to come back.

I went on Sofia's Central Bus station website with Chrome's insta-translate and the full schedule is there. A one-way ticket is 50 lev. It seems you can't buy tickets in advance but there are plenty of booths at the bus station.

Ok thanks. That's kinda what I figured. Do the buses get full often? Or could I get seats a day or two before?
