Hello,

I have visited Orlando, Cape Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, and Cocoa Beach. Florida seems laid back and I love the atmosphere and scenery. I would like to stay in Canada and have a house in the Caribbean (for winter) that reminds me of Florida. I heard there were certain neighbourhoods in Aruba that look like Florida. Does any area/neighbourhood in the Caribbean remind you of Florida? Thanks a lot.

Possibly. But the price tag will be WAY WAY WAY higher.

Palm Beach, Aruba reminds me of Naples. That's about it.

Why not just move to Florida in the first place if you want a place that reminds you of Florida?

It will be easier after you make up your mind.

I would like a winter home. I was responding to someone who asked why not move to Florida.

So why do you need US permanent residence for a winter home? There are PLENTY of Canadian citizens with winter homes in Florida, AZ, CA, etc. etc. etc.
