iAs irony and luck would have it, I am buying on a new home at end of may but my 30th birthday is at the end of June. Can you give me some ideas of places to go for an all girls trip weekend (3 ladies). Right now we are looking at Hawaii, but truly I am not sure if that's the most cost efficient trip after buying a home.
Other suggestions were NY or LA, other suggestions greatly appreciated.

Mexico? Could easily end up being cheaper than any of those places.

1. What broad region would you be flying out of?

2. Does everyone already have a passport?

If you aren't on the west coast already, plane tickets can be somewhat pricey to Hawaii. But tripmasters.com has a flight, hotel, and rental car package for a 5 night Costa Rica trip for $700-$840 per person flying out of Dallas or Ft. Lauderdale.

What do you want to do on your vacation? For a birthday trip for a group of women I'd suggest looking into the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta Canada. It has an amazing spa and you could get pampered for several days there.

I also like San Diego, Del Coronado especially.
