Of course, it was only directed at one poster's sentiment that it's unwise to eat anything local and how one should only stick to familiar places abroad, which would mean essentially only the big fast food joints, and a handful of sitdown chains at best.

I especially like the street food in south east asia like in bangkok, singapore, luang prabang and hanoi...
eating on the streets, in my opinion, is tastier and more interesting than in a restaurant :">
