Ah ok. NMB is nice. I like that area over Myrtle Beach as it's less congested. It can still definitely get crowded but it tends to be a more mature crowd.

Last spring we stayed at the Beach Cove Resort in N.Myrtle beach.. The beach was beautiful, Barefoot Landing was a frequent stop and the Sticky Fingers restaurant was our favorite place to eat.

Yeah we actually plan on bringing our 13 month old with us... I'd prefer to have a nice vacation with just my wife but a happy wife is a happy life... that's what she wants, LOL.

Great thing about this place is it offers everything and is family friendly with kid activities... plus they have swim up bars so we can also enjoy that every so often for ourselves, hehe.

Make sure to go to Barefoot Landing and check out the TIGERS Preservation Station. They have monkeys and lions/tigers (including cubs) you can hold for a picture and the proceeds go to helping the animals.

The Black Hills are a lot of fun. If you're not squeamish about reptiles check out Reptile Gardens in Rapid City if you've never been there.
