I'm looking for an oceanfront room/condo/suite somewhere around the North Myrtle Beach/Wilmington area for a couple weeks in early May. 1 person, and my only need is high speed internet. Everything else is optional. Any suggestions? Trying to stay around $1500 for the two weeks.

I'd also suggest to look at VRBO.com.

I used to live in Myrtle Beach and resorts can be expensive right now. Renting a vacation home can save you quite a few bucks.

I'd recommend airbnb.com

True, but any home that I've found is much more expensive than the small place I would like to find. I saw a one bedroom 750 sq ft condo for about $700 a week in the fairly new Prince tower, which is right about where I want to be. I am open to suggestions beyond that.

Try asking on the coastal NC board. There are some local rental agencies that they can recommend.
