Really people you don't travel with stops? This is so common, you will be fine with a connecting flight. You won't need to go through security again, just walk to the gate.

You won't have to re-clear security in Atlanta (as long as you don't have processed packs), just print out both tickets when you weigh in (from home/inn and so on.) What you are doing will be doing two restricted flights. When you land in Atlanta you might only stay inside the safe zone and go to the Atlanta -> Vegas Gate? You are taking a BIG RISK doing this sort of flight ticketing. To Delta you are two unconnected restricted tickets, if your flight from CLT is Late, Delayed, Canceled, Delta won't "Re-Write" your ATL-LAS ticket. You will be viewed as a NO/Show on the ATL-LAS flight, you when you get to ATL, Delta will Require you to Buy a Full Fare one path stroll up ticket in the event that you need to fly out on next flight.

UKDriven, did you really copy flyonpa's post and just change a few words??? That's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen on CD.
