Am I allowed to say "me too"?

I would rather spend three weeks in Utah hiking through all of those National Parks (especially Canyonlands and Capitol Reef) than head abroad.

Have you ever been out of the country? I'm not talking about to Cozumel or Canada.

Just a quick geography lesson, it takes 8 1/2 hours to drive across Texas, which is the same amount of time, approximately to drive from Amsterdam through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and into Slovenia, depending on the route you take. The whole of Europe is smaller than the continental US, so driving from state to state, especially if you live in the Western US isn't quite as easy as you make it. Also, depending on your age, if you have parents that did not like to travel, like mine, there isn't much you can do until you are out on your own. By the time I started college, I had only been in 5 states, now, I've been in about 30, plus several foreign countries.

I've been to Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Greece and Croatia. I've also driven some of British Columbia and all over Baja Ca. And like I said before, I'd like to see more of the world eventually, especially Asia and oceania. But for now, like jlawrence, if I have some time and moneyI can get a lot more enjoyment out of just driving a few hours in to the High Country or beyond to the some of the world's most awesome places that is the american southwest.

47, plus one District. And 20 foreign countries, including Canada, where I've been to 8 provinces.
