LOL! I'm pretty much the same. I've got a AAA card and a cell phone. But the point is that I can change the tire instead of making lame excuses.

My wife doesn't enjoy driving while I actually look forward to it.

My aunt suffers from motion sickness so she prefers to drive (control of visual cues and motion) instead of her husband.

The ONLY time that my tires go flat are the two times I am in a suit each year ... or traveling in a bad neighborhood.
