Phoemix, Denver or Tampa -- the only three major league baseball teams I've never seen play a home game.

The scenario is not uncommon. people with lots of air miles on their frequent flyer do get free trips but dont use all of them for fun. People who've been wronged by airlines do get free trips in the US too. Twice I had such thing and they simply expired bc I didn't have anywhere to go in the US. I spend all my vacations abroad.

Note that SWA no longer flys into Key West- it was a moderately profitable route for them but the short runway situation meant they couldn't fully load a 737 going into and out of the airport. And they were paying for outstation employees for a fairly small number of daily flights. So they repositioned those aircraft to routes where the margins would probably be better.

I always thought I'd love to go to Hawaii, and I suppose I still would, but not to hang out on the beach like I would have done when I was younger. It would be nice to see the volcano, walk through the flowers...

But, the first city that popped into my head was New Orleans. I just love it there. It's like traveling to another country.

Then I thought of some monuments, etc., I'd like to see, like Mt. Rushmore, and places like the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon in Utah.

I can't stand humidity or snow, so going to the south or east doesn't sound like fun to me. Had a honeymoon in Maine and it was beautiful, but been there, done that. Lived in TN and WA and Mexico, been to Canada oodles of times. Seen my share of mountains, but wouldn't mind an Alaskan cruise.

I think I'd have to put them all in a bowl and just draw one out. Fun thread. Made me smile.

Bad idea. It's basically a factory island dedicated to a large commercial fishing fleet and many canneries.

I can suggest Western Samoa, which is by comparison relatively untouched. Visit Vauvau beach!

I would either go to Seattle or Wilmington, North Carolina because I like both places.

If I could use it any time, New Orleans. If I had to use it now, San Francisco. Because it would be too hot to be in New Orleans right now.
