Anyplace but the USA. Actually, the flight is the least of it, isn't it? It's all the money you spend when you get there. That's the problem.

That's why I chose Barrow AK… so I could fly there, be like, cool check that one off, then fly home.

I know it sounds like bragging or envy, but I've been to Hawaii at least 10 times (family there & born there) and it's NOT all that. (unless you're a surfer or a diver)

Hawaii because it is so expensive, I have been wanting to go there forever, so expensive. It's cheaper to fly to London.

Default In the US

I'd choose San Francisco because I've never gotten a chance to spend as much time there as I'd like to. Of the other options outside the US that you listed, I'd chose Mexico City in a heartbeat!

Billings, Montana to do a fly, drive, camping trip again. Did this about 10 years ago and had marvelous time.

That's what I don't get about this poll. Yet this has 10 pages of responses...which puzzles me. Airline costs are nothing...it's other things that factor in - getting time off, juggling family, and of course the costs when you get there.

My God people, this thread is sad - if you have dreams about going somewhere in the US just go. Flights aren't that expensive. Unless you have some minimum wage job, I think every single person here can fly anywhere they want in the US with minimal financial impact.
